Sunday Emails

Sunday is like "Email Day." I get like A TON of emails just on Sunday!! I got about 18 emails today! Crazy!

Science Presentation

I did my presentation in science today!! What a feat! I was soooo nervous!! Right before I started I decided that I wasn't going to be nervous. I was more afraid of looking at my friends during it and burst out laughing or smiling like an idiot than anything else! It went ok though. I didn't look at my friends AT ALL!! Which was simply amazing!! But, my hands started to shake really bad and then my ears started burning. After that, the rest of my body seemed to be burning up! It was really weird. Afterwards, I was sooo exhausted! It felt like I just ran the mile or something! Anyways, my friends said I did ok. I'm just afraid that tomorrow I'll mess up during my piano recital because of my nervousness! Ughh!

Dolphin Project

For Science I have this HUGE project that was due TODAY. It took a long time to do. I had to make a poster and a life size model of a dolphin. (that's my animal). It was kinda fun.

Interesting Sunday....

Today was quite interesting.....
1st: The internet wasn't working all around the neighborhood.
2nd: While we were at the park, we kept hearing sirens really close and dad said he saw some police officers in our neighborhood come out of their police cars with their guns drawn!
3rd: (The laugh for the day) Rachel had a talk today at church so dad said:
     Dad: "Rachel, how did you talk go?"
     Rachel: "I didn't have a taco!!" It was funny.

• I need to not stress over the HUGE renaissance project.  -Due Friday
• Need to add almost 10 more scrapbooked pages for my poem book for school.-Due Friday
• Need to finish my Science Poster. (haven't even started to apply anything on it yet.)-Due Tuesday
• Need to finish the paper mache my Science "Life Size Model" then paint it and add the fins. (4' 5" long dolphin pinata.)-Due Tuesday

This is simply ridiculous!! The teachers are giving us these HUGE projects at THE END of the year. I'm not stressed. I'm not stressed because:

STRESSED SPELLED BACKWARDS EQUALS DESSERTS! (meaning my daily dose of chocolate)

Fall

Spices and cinnamon,

Seem like an omen.

To say, “It’s Thanksgiving,”

And thank loved ones who’re living.

I see brown and orange,

I hear the creak of a door hinge.

As family gather round,

To where thanks will abound.

Sweets and candy,

Is really quite dandy.

At this time of year,

With kids filled with fear.

Orange and black,

As a matter of fact.

Is about goblins and ghouls,

Or a werewolf that howls.

During this season,

There is quite a reason.

To either fill up your plate,

Or go where ghosts a wait.

And now, overall,

I simply love the fall.

Spring

The flowers are blooming,

 The grasses are mowed.

The bluebirds are singing,

The seeds have been sowed.

Mama birds sing,

While their hatchlings take wing.

The trees come alive,

With a new beehive.

Now hear the loud hum

Of the bees who now come.

Spring has come,

With a bright new sun.

Spring will bring showers,

That go on for hours.

If you love spring,

Happiness it’ll bring.

Nature smells fresh,

Us, will spring bless.
