Happy Valentine's Day!! (Sorry this is late!)

I have to say, Valentine's Day is my FAVORITE HOLIDAY!!

I love the pinkness, lovin, happiness about it!

Whenever I saw someone I would shout:

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!

They probably got sick of me after a while...

I made a bunch of cards at school:)

I made this really cute heart! 

I gave it to Mckay who gave it to Khari.

Khari took it and ripped it up and 

ATE IT!!

 I was so mad!! 

Stockton and I had to wrestle him to get the rest of the paper out of his hand before he ate it, choked, and died!! Goodness!!

Anyways.

For my gal-pals I made these really cute valentine's day cards!

Cute right?

Wonder how I made them?!

First: I used this stencil to cut out teardrop shapes

Then I folded the top part down

For the eyes, I used a glitter bottle for a circular stencil.

I cut them out.

I used an art pencil and drew a circle with spokes on it like a bicycle wheel.

I glued them on the folded part.

Then, I cut the top part so it curved in.

Where there's a fogged up circle, in the middle I cut two little slits 

for the lollipop.

 Stick the lollipop in.

(I cut the wrapper around the lollipop in a circular form so it fit more and didn't cover up the eyes)

Last, write a cute little owl note and give it to a friend!!

Man Joke

At school the guys like to make sexist jokes against girls.

Such as:

"Why aren't you in the kitchen?"

"Why did the woman cross the road? Who cares! Why isn't she in the kitchen?!"

Ya know.

And my least favorite:

"Hey wanna hear a joke? Woman's rights!"

Ugh!!

So my brother told me this joke. 

Obviously it's against men.

It goes like this:

There's a blonde, brunette, and redhead.

They find a genie and each get one wish.

The redhead says:

"I hate everyone making fun of me for being super smart! I wish to be SOMEWHAT smart."

So she turns into a brunette.

The brunette says:

"I hate everyone making fun of me for being somewhat smart. I want to be REALLY smart."

So she turns into a redhead.

The blonde says:

"I hate everyone making fun of me for being dumb. I want to be EXTREMELY DUMB!"

 So she turns into a man.

Haha:)

Happy Birthday Daddy!!

Guess what?!

Today is my daddy's birthday!

I have to say, he's gettin kinda old...

I love this guy so much!!

I would put down (insert his age) of things I love about him,

But that's kind of a lot...

And I don't think he'd like it if I put his age on my blog...

So instead I'll just put down 10 things I love about him:)

1. He can never put a straight smiley face on when taking pictures
2. He's so fun to hang out with
3. He cares about me
4. He loves me
5. He's the most selfless person I know!  For example: Today he bought my mom flowers and an iTunes card for Valentine's Day. On his birthday!And he doesn't want anything for his own birthday!
6. He makes me laugh
7. He works his butt off for all of us
8. Even when he works late, he always finds time for us
9. He encourages us to read scriptures as a family
10. He believes in me

 

Another FINISHED Project!!

Wonder what I did on Sunday?

When everyone thought I was napping?

I was doing...

A PROJECT.

This project took me 3 hours to do!

For Christmas my mother bought me this:

Mine was RED though.

She bought it for me for Seminary.

We're learning about the New Testament.

Now, notice how there aren't any tabs...

That could cause a problem.

AND notice how boring it looks.

My regular scriptures are actually somewhat cute.

ANYWAYS.

The book went from

I decorated it!!:D

It took me a while but it turned out great!!

Here's what I used:

All the Supplies

 I used this black ribbon as the bookmark and parts of the decor.

 I covered the WHOLE book with Mod Podge.

I also used glue to put the scrapbook papers together.

 These are really cool! 

They are kinda old school but they are great!!

You put them on a piece of paper and then scratch at the letters and it sticks to the paper like printer paper!! 

I used the curly ones for the word "BIBLE" and then I used the block ones for the tabs:)

 Here are the scrap booking paper I used.

The Shiny gold strip is the one I used for the tabs.

 You can peel the back off it off and it's sticky so

I just put the letters on took of the back part and folded it over the page.

And it stuck!! Woot woot!

I have to say, that was SO worth three hours.

Best Prank!

My friend Abi and I decided we were going to pull a prank on someone.

We thought of a really good one...;D

I went and watched my friend Khari doing his locker combo.

I got the jist of what it was haha;)

At lunch Abi and I went to his locker and opened it.

Then, 

WE EMPTIED IT.

We took all his stuff in his locker and stuck it in my locker!
It was so FUNNY!

After lunch, we got a group to nonchalantaly stand there and watch him open it.

He opened his locker, saw it was empty and yelled:

"PRINCESS!! ABI!! GET OVER HERE!!"

He was so mad! It was HILARIOUS!! 

We gave his stuff back eventually...

When Sam saw his empty locker she asked me what I did with all his stuff. 

I led her to my locker and opened it.

It was STUFFED with mine and his stuff. 

She just started laughing.

It was SO FUN!!

Clever...

I saw this and thought it was simply clever...

Hair

I was getting sick of my bangs, so I finally cut them so they were kinda like my mom's.

Yes. I did cut my own bangs.

When I go to college I want to do hair/cosmetology.
